At Barr, we don’t shy away from the difficult stuff.
We provide a comprehensive hazardous waste disposal service dealing with material such as asbestos, Japanese knotweed, batteries, used oil, and waste electrical equipment (WEEE).
We are here to help.
If you are at all unsure about how to dispose of certain waste please consult our handy list below or get in touch.
Barr can accept hazardous wastes, such as unwanted household and motor vehicle batteries, motor oil, cooking oil, and electrical equipment such as televisions, fridge-freezers and computers.
(Please note that we can only accept these wastes from domestic premises.)
Barr has the most significant capability and capacity to handle asbestos waste in Scotland.
Our ADR certified drivers operate a fleet of vehicles for the safe carriage of fibrous and cement-bonded asbestos to our PPC-compliant disposal sites and we can also provide all regulatory paperwork required by SEPA.
Knot on our watch.
Barr has a depth of experience in managing the disposal of Japanese Knotweed.
